Cooke Technovision 18-90 T2.3 Zoom
It was newly serviced from Duclos about a year ago. Comes in a new hard case with an attached lens support bracket for 15 LWS with built in handle.
Everything works, smooth gears, great image quality. It is vintage, so it has a more contrasty, slightly less sharp and warmer look than modern lenses, which gives it its character. The focus falloff is smooth providing the "cooke look". It also has user markings taped on one side of the lens from a previous owner which actually comes in handy. A large front element cover is attached that can be taken off.
It was originally designed to cover only 35 format, but I found at 20mm and up, it will give a pleasing image for super35 with barely noticeable soft vignetting. It will strongly vignette at 18mm, but it's usable if cropped/filmed for 1.778 ratio (tested on arri mini).
